Roami at Motorworks

The building itself was very cool and the unit seemed pretty at first glance. Temperature controlled off site and would warm up at night (despite them telling you to adjust from unit- you are not able to), bathroom fans don’t work and one hanging from the ceiling (and disgusting with mold), master shower leaks (like river running through the room), floors are polished concrete so extremely slippery with water leaking. I communicated this all several times overs a few days, always being told maintenance would be in touch but never was. We finally checked out a day early. With the AC warming up and the fans not working, it was constantly mildewy and damp. Overall just felt dirty and uncomfortable by the end. They were really prompt at responding but never actually did anything. Overall disappointing.

We stayed there twice, on our way by train to Texas and on he way back. The place was wonderful. We will do it again on our next trip.

My husband and I flew out to New Orleans for my God Daughter Graduation and we were very excited and booked to Rome at Motoworks. The only thing I like was the Location!

Worst customer service I ever experienced, water leak in the ceiling, Washing machine was working dryer not working, there was no blow dryer available. Than there was a a flood on the first floor by our living room for the two days we stayed. Did asked for reimbursement. Have not heard from them!

Excellent. We wil stay there again on our next trip.

The apartment is quite large and bright, with modern decoration.

The A/C wasn't working when we arrived at the apartment at about 10 pm, and we had serious problems getting it addressed. Nobody answered the customer service or maintenance numbers when we called that night, and the next morning it took several calls and messages to get a response. When you call the customer service number you have to go through a phone tree, and the call gets dropped every time. We ended up messaging through the app and leaving messages on the customer service line and we did eventually get responses, but the problem (most likely a simple dead battery in the thermostat) wasn't addressed until the next evening. Overall we made a least 6 calls and exchanged several messages, and mostly the customer service staff were apologetic and tried to placate. There were some other frustrations with the apartment: 1. There is no bedside light in the bedrooms 2. The living room furniture looks nice but is very uncomfortable. 3. One of the showers is a rain shower that is impossible to turn on from outside the shower, so you literally have to stand under it when it comes on, and of course it's cold at first. Then the water pressure is very weak, much too weak for the enormous rectangular shower head. 4. We got two different sets of check-in instructions with different codes, so getting it was a bit of a hassle. Overall it's an attractive property but gives the impression that management doesn't have its act together.
