Good location, good for long stay

Could be cleaner

I liked the location and the facility itself. It was very good for a week stay because I had the comfort to cook and do laundry myself. The room was clean and well equipped.

I did not really liked the fact that I did not have a space to put my clothes (like a closet or drawer). When I cook, the smell will spread in the room. It would be grate to have a closed space for storing clothes. Thank you.

I had an incredibly disappointing experience at Comfort CUBE PHOENIX Beppu. From the moment I walked in, the room had a foul odor, and it was clear that it had not been cleaned. I had to buy cleaning supplies and do a deep clean myself. The walls, doors, and curtains were filthy, with stains that appeared to be blood in some areas, and the toilet paper holder was falling off the wall. The kitchen was poorly stocked, and the few items provided were dirty and smelled of sewage. The bed wasn’t a real bed, just two cushions pushed together with a hard metal seam in the middle, making it impossible to sleep comfortably. I had to buy a futon to make it somewhat bearable. The worst part was the ant infestation. They were everywhere—on the beds, table, and throughout the apartment. There was even roach and ant killer spray left beside the bed, which made it clear that the property was already aware of the issue. On top of that, the air conditioner barely worked, and I couldn't stay in the room for long due to the heat, which was particularly concerning as I have a medical condition. I ended up having to move to a new hotel at my own expense because the conditions were unlivable. This property did not come close to meeting even basic standards, and I would not recommend it to anyone.

I got stuck in Beppu during a Typhoon. All trains and Buses were shut down. Good thing Comfort Cube is affordable. I had to stay three extra days in Beppu. Though there is no staff on site, through booking.com I was easily able to extend my stay.

Great little spot right next to Beppu station on a main shopping street. Beppu itself is very quiet and it surprised me how quiet the area itself was. All in all a nice space for a couple of nights!

Location was A+ Near the train station.

They gave us the wrong entry code and werent responding via booking.com messages. Had to utilise the amazing ladies in the boutique shops next door to assist to call several different numbers for help. Please support the mother and daughter stores next door to each other in thanks.

Very good Location, easy to access the appartment, 5-10min walking distance from the airport buss. The apartment itself is clean, and have both a kitchen and a washing mashine. The appartment is big for the cost and great value.

the bed itself was a foldable bed that had some sort of support beam in the middle that i could feel when i was lieing on the bed, though i fixed that by just taking the other blanket as an extra matress and moved down slightly to have the beam on my lower back instead of on my pelvis. there was also a light smell from the bath/shower, but that was fixed by just turning on the ventilation day 1 and keeping the door open.
