Smoke detector battery was defective. Reported it to the front desk but not action. Shower head barely put out water

Shower supplies didn't seem good

We usually find Hamptons to be okay. The GM greeted us and was deligtful. It seemed as if the lobby had just been redecorated and it was well done. Because of the time of year, it was decorated with nice lights and trees, etc. The breakfast was the one typical of a Hampton Inn. But the room...There was no hot water at the sink after a 10 minute run; the water in the shower was cold with a touch of warm only; there was no shampoo nor conditioner; there was a vent in the bathroom (don't know what for) that made so much noise that we had to stuff it with a pillow to alleviate some sound; the fan and room temperature on the HVAC could not be adjusted; the room was tired. We wrote to the GM about this and the young man who helped us at checkout also took notes to pass along. No one contacted us.

Staff was excellent. Manager Ila Jacobs went above and beyond. Facility well-maintained and conveniently located.

We checked into this hotel because it is next to the Pensacola airport and they have a shuttle that they advertised as on demand. They are half a mile maximum from the airport terminal. When we arrived and called them they told us it would be over an hour to pick us up. We paid extra for the service. We paid extra for the service. Additionally the morning we left there was no hot water in the shower and the smoke alarm went off when we tried to turn on the heater. Do yourself a favor. Pick a different hotel and use uber. By the way, we are diamond members for Hilton which infuriates me even more. Please note in the pictures that the shuttle is parked in front of the hotel and we have the parking pass in our window.

WORST HOTEL I HAVE EVER STAYED IN!! Checkin was fast and staff courtesy. I requested our Diamond level snacks and made our way to the room. The time frame is when the cold front was moving through with low 50s windy day high and freezing nights. At some point throughout the night, our heater stopped working. Then we go to take a shower and not an oz of cold came through even with us having only cold water on. It was so hot couldn’t even stand under it. I reported these to the front desk on our way out. We get back to the room and maintenance was clearly there as they left trail a dirt and trash in the bathroom. Heater still not working so I called again and someone assured me someone would be up. Didn’t happen. The shower had a touch a cold so we were able to do very quick showers. The next morning I called back done and said the heater still isn’t working we cannot freeze another night. Maintenance guy comes in the room for a whole 2 minutes. I don’t know what the problem is, hvac guy will be here in a while. I waited a few more hours and called again. A different gentleman came up shook his head and said they have to move you to a different room. I was down there for surgery and main reason I got the 1 bedroom unit but the manager claims she doesn’t have one available and puts us in a regular room. My HH app says there is a 1 bedroom room ready though. Next day was check out day and I waited around to speak with the manager. She didn’t care about the entire situation at all. She said she would call me or my husband that. Never heard a word. Shows you a manager that is really concerned about her property and loyalty customers. Was charged for all 3 nights. The hotel itself is ran down with cracks everywhere and not kept up. This should be one of those $39 night type hotel not nowhere in the playing field of a typical Hilton. As Diamond Honor Members and HGVC Max owners, we are truly considering changing loyalty from Hilton but Hilton doesn’t stand for what they once did. Complete shame. Hilton doesn’t start fixing things and building the name back, a lot of their loyalty base will be leaving to a company that it would be appreciated.
