"Terrible experience"

Our overall experience was bad at the Hampton Inn/Cordova Mall location. The hotel interior rug and room wall paper look faded. Let me list the problems we had with our room. 1) House keeping only came 1 x in our 2 day stay. We needed trash removed and clean towels. 2) The toilet did not flush. We had to repeatedly fix the tank chain to flush. No body fixed the problem during our stay. 3) The showers were scalding hot. We could not find the cold water 4) The bed was extremely firm. Not for side sleepers. 5) There was no manager available. Nor did the desk clerk care if there was a problem. It was not worth it to stay there. On a positive note, the breakfast was fantastic.

Very close to the airport if you have an early or late flight. Plus shuttle at any hour.

Room was too cold (no aircon control) and there were no curtains to stop light from entering the room. It was way too bright to sleep well.

"Comfortable room with friendly front desk staff but don't end your stay early if you prepaid"

I found the front desk staff friendly and welcoming. The room was comfortable and fit my needs at the time.

My family plans changed and I needed to leave early. I informed the front desk on Sunday that my plans changed and I needed to leave on the following Tuesday. Was told it was no problem. Now I find out that the hotel is refusing to refund me for the 8 days I wasn't staying on their property because they cannot prove I left early. I am trying to working with their finance manager, the credit card company and booking.com (who I originally used to make the reservation). So far no one is helping. My family is going through enough after my aunts horrific accident and her multiple surgeries to try and keep her alive and getting a new norm to her life to have to deal with this issue is just adding to the stress. I don't know what else I can do. I did in fact leave early as I stated, my aunt was released earlier than expected and I need to be with her at her home not staying miles away in a hotel. Hoping this is resolved soon and the over charge is refunded.
