Park Hyatt Beaver Creek Resort and Spa, Vail Valley

I booked a four night award stay in a early 2025 as soon as the booking window opened; we were here in February 2025. The room we had in 2025 had not been renovated; the one we have this year has been and I believe all are done. I have to say, I'm impressed with the update. I had thought the bathrooms were left untouched from what I had read, but they have been updated. I booked us into a standard kind and requested a rollaway for my 15 year old daughter; I think the cost for the rollaway was $50 - $55. A week before our stay I got a call from the hotel offering a second, connecting room for $100 per night. I took the offer. We would save the cost of the rollaway and the cost of my daughter's breakfast (I think) making this almost a break even change plus the advantage of mroe comfortable bedding for her and a second bathroom. The rooms are nice and modern-ish. There are plenty of plugs and outlets. They really updated the lighting in a very nice way. Switches control lights above the bed, above paintings, etc. in a very useful way. I was dreading the motion triggered lights under the bed and in the bathroom. The Gallia in Milan has similar lighting and it became a game to find and cover up the sensors; no such problem here. They turn on for a brief period, and then turn off. The bathroom in our room has a very good sized walk in shower. In my daughters connecting room it is still the tub in the shower; her room is two queen beds so likely intended to be more for families. The shower has a rain and handheld / mountable head both with good pressure. There are two sinks in both rooms. There is a coffee machine, humidifier / vaporizer, iron, hair dryer, mini-fridge and a few assorted glasses in each room. Turn down is offered nightly. We didn't really need anything so we just took the Enstroms candy each night. The beds are nice. At first I thought the pillows would be too puffy but they smoosh down and are very comfortable. My daughter did room service twice. Nothing good or bad to report, so I guess that is good. The folks at check in are always very nice and efficient. I did have a problem with the keys when the second room became ready for checkin. They asked if I wanted keys that work in both doors, or separate keys for each door. I took them up on keys that work in both doors. Neither worked. Neither worked a second time. So I had them make two separate sets of keys. Other than that, things went smoothly. It just isn't as crowded here as it normally is, likely because they haven't had feet and feet of snow. That doesn't really impact my wife and I, but it does our daughter. It wouldn't keep us away though; this is a great hotel in a great location with great amenities for skiing. We ate lunch at the bar; the bartender said they were about 60% occupancy. This is our last day and we got back to the rooms around 2:30. Rooms weren't made up. The prior day that was the case as well, and they came by around 2:30 to clean the rooms and we vacated. I figured they had a big check out / check in day...ok. Today is Sunday though. I doubt they have a flux of check ins, especially when they are 60% occupancy. As of 4:15 no housekeeping. I called down and told the front desk that we hadn't had our rooms cleaned / refreshed and at this point we'd just like some towels. His response was that this would be done at turndown service time. I was astounded. I said that because they didn't service the room I now had to wait a few more hours to get the towels, etc.? Not good let alone great service on this particular item. I get it is first world propblems, but it's supposed to be a first class hotel.

We had an amazing stay at the Park Hyatt Beaver Creek. The staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly from start to finish, which really set the tone for the trip. Our room was spotless, beautifully maintained, and absolutely incredible. The ski-in/ski-out access is unbeatable and made everything so convenient. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a luxury stay with top-notch service right on the mountain.

This was a great experience and the service was above and beyond. A great place to stay for a family ski vacation as they make everything as easy as possible.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Park Hyatt Beaver Creek. The newly renovated rooms are beautiful. Our stay was made particularly special thanks in part to the VIP manager, Gabriella Cole, whom coordinated details of our stay perfectly including a birthday celebration for our group. She truly exemplifies the high standard of proactive hospitality of the Park Hyatt brand.

We had such a wonderful stay. First time in Beaver Creek which is adorable and convenient in every way. The hotel is beautifully renovated, we stayed in a king size room with a roll away bed. Closet and bathroom space was adequate. Plenty of water in room and all over the hotel was much appreciated. The service is truly excellent, the ski valet a pleasure, the slopes and gondola is steps away. We enjoyed the fire pits and outdoor kitchen for lunch, used the outdoor jacuzzi one night. The hotel was full but there was space for everyone. Most suited for young families with kids. There was a mishap with our in room dining which the restaurant manager apologized for and comped our drinks. I requested the temperature and pressure for the shower be looked at as it was Luke warm, maintenance came by while we were out and it was working perfectly by the time we returned. My only mild criticism is that the breakfast Buffett is really not up to park Hyatt standards. $44 pp before tax & tip is a pricey meal for a very standard selection. I would select à la carte or eat out. Dinner must be run by a different chef bc it was excellent, beautifully presented and delicious. Cocktail & wine selection are very good too. We skii’d one day in Beaver creek and took the free bus to Vail for the 2nd ski day. Easy 25 min drive. I would stay here again.

Excellent location for skiing at Beaver Creek especially for beginners, as ski school is just outside the hotel. Ski valet is very convenient although I did rent from the school rather than the hotel's associated rental store. Two gondolas located just outside the hotel, as well. Rooms have been updated recently. Air conditioner overly loud but able to stay comfortable just turning it off. Breakfast buffet is overpriced ($44), but multiple restaurants within easy walking distance. Highly recommended if planning to ski at Beaver Creek.

Bartenders are high Interesting spot, AJ was high on coke and Natasha was pouring fake wine glasses. Double check your bill, because they are not pouring what is expected and charging double. Would advise checking your bill. We wee charged $70 for a beer and wine.

My second stay at the Park Hyatt Beaver Creek, and I loved it even more than the first - thanks to the beautiful Christmas décor. The hotel felt especially cozy and festive, which made the whole experience extra special. The service is consistently warm, the ski-in/ski-out access is effortless, and everything about the stay feels easy and well cared for. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to come back again and again.

My family & friends were here for the Wells & Bloom wedding. The staff did an amazing job. Beautiful hotel, gorgeous grounds, fantastic top notch service, and wonderful memories were made. It was worth every penny. Shout out to Ms. Katie Lohman (Park Hyatt Beaver Creek front office manager), we took care of every detail for my family. I'm forever grateful. Thank you so much!
