Nice host and great breakfast

The location is a bit difficult unless one has a car because the walking path is too close to the car road at parts

The breakfast was handcooked by the lovely landlady Alison. We were able to choose whatever we wanted - lots of choice: full english, scrambled eggs, cereals, yogurts, tea, coffee ..... The location was beautiful and secluded and only a 15 minute walk into town along a footpath which was lovely and peaceful. You can drive into town and there is a very large car park or a local taxi which was easily available was only £6. There are 3 bedrooms with ensuites, all very clean and comfortable with the bonus of having a fridge in them. Tea and coffee is provided with a kettle and Alison kept us supplied with milk so we could have coffee when we wanted. We had a problem with our tv that did not work. We informed Alison and said it was not a particular problem - we just wanted to let her know. She could not have been more helpful and while we were out she sourced us another tv and changed them both over on the tv wall bracket. If we ever go to Arundel we will definitely be staying there. There was nothing to fault about our stay. Thank you Alison.

Nice friendly host. Good English breakfast. Good size room and outdoor space.

Although peacefull and quite, a little remote on foot but a short drive in the car.

Stayed here over the Festival weekend. Hanger Down House is just south of Arundel and a lovely 20 minute walk into the middle of Arundel. Alison is a lovely welcoming host. The 3 en-suite rooms are in a wing of the family home. Alison made us an amazing full English breakfast every morning in the guest only private breakfast room. Our room was on the ground floor with 3 large windows, this was a very spacious double with a dressing table, leather sofa, fridge with tea making facilities & tv. The en suite was a good size with a lovely walk in double shower, Alison provides toiletries too. The accommodation is on a very quiet country road with a large garden with table/chairs to sit and watch the sun go down with a glass or two of wine! Would 100% stay here again and recommend to family & friends. Thanks Alison for a lovely stay.
