Hanger Down House Bed and Breakfast

Delicious cooked breakfast. Quiet, peaceful B and B . Lovely garden. Lovely owner. Nice walk to the town. 10/15 min drive to the beach . Comfy bed, in a spacious room with a fridge, a fan in a pretty old cottage. Nice hot shower. Very comfortable stay. Would definitely stay here again.

The walk to town doesn't have pavement for a small part of the way, just a grass verge so have to be a bit careful along the road.

Very friendly and great location

Our room was huge and very comfortable. Great bathroom with nice towels and toiletries. It was in a quiet location on the edge of Arundel just 20 mins walk from the centre. Our hostess Alison was really welcoming and friendly. The breakfasts were delicious and we appreciated having lots of real milk in the fridge in our room.

We liked everything about this b&b and would recommend it highly.

We had a lovely 2 night stay. Hosts were lovely. Room was lovely, comfortable. Breakfast was lovely. It was lovely being able to sit in the garden.

Location was a little further out of Arundel than we would have liked. Walkable but 25 mins and have to walk on the busy road into Arundel for a while

We had a spacious yet cozy room. The friendly hostess had taken extra steps to ensure our room was scent free - very appreciated. Breakfast was hardy and tasty. The shower was great. There was reasonable taxi service into restaurants in Arundel so we didn’t have to drive at night. All our needs were met.

We specifically booked this B and B because the room had a ‘king-sized’ bed. Turns out that’s a traditional UK name for an American ‘queen’ bed. So beware! If you want an American king (equivalent to two twins together) this is not the place for you. A minor thing - I was a little disappointed not to have any baked goods at breakfast as I look forward to B and B treats (like scones or muffins). Had to make do with extra jam on my brown toast.
