Hanger Down House Bed and Breakfast

Lovely big room. Host lovely.

Would have liked bigger time slot for breakfast. Kettle in room needed descaling. Bit far ou from town, but my fault for not looking properly. Breakfast luke warm.also quite pricey, probably most expensive b&b we have stayed at

A friendly host. Good breakfast. Nice shower. Spacious room. Fridge with fresh milk and tea/ coffee facilities.

Standard of cleaning. Tired looking room furniture. Cobwebs and uncleaned windows/ frames. Lack of a "clean" parking space as by the morning my car was absolutely covered in large bird droppings. Problems with TV signal which kept failing.

This B&B is well run by a friendly proprietor and is in a beautiful quiet spot. It is just on the edge of Arundel so is a perfect place to explore the town.

There was not much to dislike.

Wonderful welcome by the owner plus the room had an excellent bathroom. We feel guilty that our review isn’t better .

We were cold on arrival but apparently because of previous warm weather the heating was turned off . We were supplied with 2 electric radiators. The breakfast choice was poor with only 2 cereals plus muesli and no fruit available apart from apples and bananas. Most b&b supply soft fruits . The room just needed updating with new pillows a coffee table to create a nicer ambiance. No heating in the breakfast room .

What a great host,so friendly and made us feel very welcome. It's a quiet location and ideal for accessing Arundel. We really enjoyed our short break away, hopefully we'll be making another visit fairly soon.

The breakfast was amazing and delicious. And, was included in the rate. The hostess was also so friendly and you could see and taste that she did it with love and care. The B&B was out of town, but also close enough and easy access to all the areas we wanted to explore.

There was really nothing that we didn't like.

Lovely comfortable house in quiet location We had the downstairs room which was large and comfy King sized bed, large walk in shower …perfect Also, a fridge with a daily top up of milk Sat in garden on a sunny evening with a glass of wine ….perfect Wonderful breakfast Lovely, kind and thoughtful hosts Would absolutely stay again if in the area

Very friendly B&B, lovely breakfast. Great to be able to walk along the river into Arundel.

One of the best B&B we have been too, will stay again in the future. Thank you for an awesome weekend and your great hospitality.
