Regency Art Hotel Macau

For the price you're paying, this hotel is definitely worth a stay. The bathroom is quite old, otherwise the rooms are relatively clean and the breakfast are not bad. The best thing about this hotel is that it's really convenient to the bus stops, so you are free to travel anywhere. Buses are frequent too.

Not near to attractions, need to take public transport to go everywhere. The hotel includes breakfast is good. The room is not too old, maybe just updated. The hotel entrance is having renovation and blocked the way. Handicapped is difficult to enter the lobby.

Location a bit far from the tourist attractions. Staff service is ok but the room comfortability was good.

This hotel is located in Taipa. Although the hotel provides a shuttle bus service to Macao, we should check whether the bus is operating in the specified time. Sometime they skip the service. SInce there is no bus service to Cotai Central, it is quite inconvenient.

Cheap and nice. Good location. Taxi is a problem. Need to wait a little.

It's a limited updated hotel from the old days of Hyatt Regency. It's probably a 3 star at best but comfortable and quiet though.

We wanted a hotel which was convenient for Taipa, where we were visiting relatives for a family celebration, and were not particularly bothered about easy access to the large casinos. The Regency Arts is well located on the Taipa water front and we were given a room with excellent views over the water and bridges towards Macau island, the Macau Tower, Grand Lisboa, and mainland China. The free hotel shuttle bus serves various casinos and the ferry terminal but we didn't use it as there are also a large number of buses that stop outside the hotel serving various parts of Macau island, Taipa and Coloane. The staff were extremely helpful and courteous and our deal included a generous breakfast with a wide variety of choices that varied from day to day ranging from Chinese style steamed buns to Western style bacon, egg and beans. One very surprising and pleasant aspect was that the hotel provided, free of charge, a mobile phone to use around Macau with free local phone calls and free maps and internet access. The hotel includes a large resort and spa area with, saunas and hot and cold baths, a bar and a large outdoor swimming pool that was unfortunately out of action during our stay. The outdoor area also includes a 'tropical forest' area of trees, pools and pathways

Staff were kind but the hotel rooms needed major renovation to bring it to today's standard. We stayed at the hotel side, not the resort side. The rooms we were assigned had an old musty smell. We complained to the staff and immediately we were changed to another room on the same floor. The smell was still there but as strong as the first ones.

Lots of choice at breakfast. Service excellent. Bed comfortable.

This is my second stay within this month. It is wonderful as compared with the previous one. Hotel upgrades me to sea view room. No fireworks this time leads to quiet and peaceful environment. It is value for money.
