Moon Isle Beach Bungalow

We had a lovely stay at Moon Isle Beach Bungalow. This beautiful hide-away accomodation lays on the stunning beach of Nilaveli with direct view on Pigeon Island. The owners and their staff are the best! So friendly and helpfull, and they serve very good food (and drinks :)) for breakfast, lunch and diner. They can arrange boattrips to see whales/dolphins and Pigeon Island, we also rented a scooter to explore the environment on land. We definitly hope to come back some day!

Mandy is a wonderful host: caring and nice. The house is beautiful and the location is an authentic paradise, peaceful and relaxing. The food il tasty and very good, everything was just perfect. We highly recommend the Moon Isle Beach Bungalow!

We had a lovely stay at the beach cabana. The owner amanda is so friendly and helpfull with everything! The staf ladies are so kind. The food was delicious the best so far for me in Sri Lanka. Especcialy the coconut sambal. The location is perfect right on the beach. Some hammocks in the tree. Yes we loved it and will come back some day!

the best stay in Sri Lanka for us! not only the location is perfect (with ocean view and blue ocean water in front of your room) but also the hosts and the homemade Sri Lankan food they serve are amazing!! definitely something i would recommend to my friends. yes, it’s even worth it when low season on the east coast.

This place is a little paradise! You wake up directly at your private beach. The room is big, the bed is comfortable, the bathroom is clean and there's air condition. The house itself is so pretty and decorated beautifully. It looks just like the pictures, or even better:) Mandy, the host, is such a sweetheart and gave us so many tips. They organized a privat boat pick-up to pigeon Island and borrowed us snorkeling equipment. The food they offer (besides breakfast you can order lunch/dinner/snacks/dessert anytime) is freshly home cooked and very delicious. So you don't even have to leave the place to look for food, which we really enjoyed since we visited in December (which is not season). We even had a little candlelight dinner right on the beach, which was so romantic and nice. Would highly recommend going there, if you are looking want some relaxing beach days!
