Moon Isle Beach Bungalow

The property had a lovely atmosphere . It was very relaxing, welcoming and the staff were friendly

The location. It was on the beach and because the property only has 6 rooms you felt as though you had a private beach all to yourself.

La struttura si trova proprio sulla spiaggia, noi abbiamo alloggiato nella cabana che aveva un stupenda vista mare. La stanza era sufficientemente spaziosa ed aveva all’interno tutto il necessario. Era pulita e silenziosa. Lo staff è stato super, dal gestore ai ragazzi che aiutavano al bar e nel ristorante. Abbiamo sempre mangiato in struttura perché il ristorante era buonissimo, la posizione fantastica e i prezzi onesti.

Sono rimasta un po’ delusa dalle escursioni: sia quella per avvistare i delfini, sia quella ad Angel Rock. Le ho trovate piuttosto care e non troppo entusiasmanti. Questo non dipende chiaramente dalla struttura né dal personale.

We loved everything about the structure: -the room was very clean and comfortable - the food was amazing ( told by Italian we can say that it was the best food we've ever tried in Sri Lanka) and authentic - the stuff was really kind and helpful. - in the structure you can find also some option to visit pigeon island and coral island with great price and amazing people A special note goes to AMANDA who is the best host we’ve ever met. A beautiful person, kind and available for any kind of suggestion.

The location is amazing and the staff were super friendly and helpful. We had a great snorkeling trip to Pigeon Island also arranged by Moon Isle. We slept very well and were sorry to leave such a tranquil, happy place.

Spectacular location.

Nothing at all.

We stayed in their sole cabana- just wow! The cabana was extremely comfortable, small as you’d expect, but perfect. The beach is gorgeous, very unspoilt & we had the perfect view & the sounds of ocean from our room were magical. The host Amanda is wonderful, nothing too much trouble! The food in the restaurant was fantastic - breakfast, lunch & dinner - seafood platter highly recommended - all very authentic, but Western options too, all cooked fresh & again on the beach with amazing views .

As the good is cooked fresh, and the restaurant busy, it isn’t the fasted dining experience, but with that view & the freshness & tastiness of the food - not a problem!!

Minor point: Friendly staff but some of them need to improve their English skills. As a result some misunderstanding by ordering food and drinks.

The Bungalow is located at the beautiful Nilaveli beach and the rooms had everything we needed. Food was also really good. Amanda and Umesh are really nice. Amanda even gave me a long-sleeve shirt for snorkeling because I didn‘t have one.

A/C was a bit loud staff was friendly but not as warm-hearted and caring as we experienced in other hotels

The location and vibe was incredible. If you’re looking for a relaxing stay in a stunning location go there. We also booked whale watching and saw whales. The food was great and a very warm welcome from Amanda made our stay amazing.
