Moon Isle Beach Bungalow

The location is fantastic, and its a beautiful small resort direct om the lovely Nilaveli beach. We had a great trip to Peagon Island, easy organized at the hotel.

We felt that the restaurant could have been a fantastic quiet place, only with the soft brezze from ocean, instead you feel you Are sitting in a nightclub, with loud music from the hotel and the neighbour hotel. An upgrade here and there could be good as Well, and the service in the restaurant was rather slow. We also missed the smile from the staff, all over Sri Lanka We have been meet with big smiles, but not in this resort.

The room is on the beach, just fee steps from the ocean, really beautiful location… Nilaveli beach is really nice and we had great sunny day during our stay. Also the accomodation provides beach towels so that you dont have to worry about yours. The room was nice and spacious. :) Breakfast was included in our overnight stay and you can choose from the menu what you want to eat.

Maybe it would be great that for this price you add towels for bathroom as well and for the shower. Also, the staff didnt look so interested, first day they didnt notice we were sitting and waiting for the menu until we come to ask about menu, and we can see that here is a space for them to be more better in providing service since the cost per night is not so cheap.

Beautifully located right on the beach. The sea was great for swimming. The food in the restaurant was very good, as was the breakfast. The staff was very friendly and helpful. A Poseidon dive center is right next door. Scooter rentals are also available directly at the hotel. We really enjoyed our stay.

The mosquitoes loved to bite me, so be sure to take mosquito repellent with you.

We loved it here - beautiful beach with plenty of shade and loungers. Amanda, Umesh and the rest of the staff were wonderful. We had a sea view room which was very clean and comfortable and had an individual outdoor seating area. Good and varied food including great breakfast. Sea perfect for swimming with a further several kilometres of beach to run or walk along. Pigeon island visible and easy to organise a trip. A highlight for us was also seeing the fishing nets being brought in and people coming to buy fish straight from the beach.

Nothing we didn’t like.

Wonderful peaceful location right on beach and wonderful staff. Hosts speak good English and very friendly. Food excellent and all presented very well. Rented Tuk Tuk nearby.
