My husband recently stayed at Sleep Inn & Suites Tuscaloosa East, and we had a very concerning experience. At 8:00 AM, a staff member entered his locked room without knocking despite a clearly displayed “Do Not Disturb” sign. He was undressed at the time, making this a serious breach of privacy and guest safety. When he reported it to the front desk, the manager’s response was dismissive and unprofessional. Another staff member did apologize, but the situation should never have happened in the first place. We escalated this to corporate, and while they provided points, they declined any further action and closed the case without addressing accountability at the property level. Guests should feel safe and respected. Entering a locked room with a DND sign is unacceptable, and the handling of the situation afterward only made it worse.

Unless they lower the price significantly, I wouldn't waste my money. the 1st room they gave me smelled terrible. the 2nd room had cigarette burns on the comforter. The health dept. needs to make an inspection.
