"It's a fine option - and a good value - but hardly my first choice"

The room was good. The bed was comfortable, and I had plenty of workspace. The bathroom was clean. Common areas were the problem. There is no elevator, and the stairwell could use at least fresh paint, if not other improvements to make the trip upstairs a bit less dismal. The lobby and breakfast areas are undersized, and no warm-egg options were available. I wanted waffles, though, and those were up to standard. The hallway carpet is old and worn. Overall, this was a good value - especially once we were in the room. But if my choice is to stay here or pay $75 more to stay at the Comfort Inn on Jack Warner Parkway, I'm choosing the latter.
