Sanso Tensui

They didn’t just adjust meals to my dietary needs. They encouraged me to tell them what I enjoy eating so the meals could be perfect for me. I really really appreciated this gesture as everywhere else in Japan seems to resent anyone who can’t eat everything. The rooms are spacious and the private bath in room type B is huge! We also stayed another night in Kaori room and the bath here was something else. The reservable private baths are super magical and clean. Never had any issue booking those. You can choose to have breakfast at 11 which is great if you want to sleep in or enjoy the baths instead of wasting precious time eating. It’s a luxurious stay from start to finish. I will never forget this stay. My husband and I have vowed to come back for our ten year anniversary, just to stay here. Book this place. Don’t hesitate. The bad reviews are super old and we didn’t encounter any of the issues

Absolutely nothing

Everything was PERFECT!!! We stayed at a room with open-air bath type A, room no. 305. We loved this room so much! We will definitely go back to stay here again. All the staffs were so helpful and so kind. Their service was perfect. The foods were so delicious and I mean every single thing on each plate! Even their still-water was so delicious!! I do not think there is any ryokan in Japan as perfect as this place. I recommend this place with all my heart.

Sanso Tensui was an exceptional experience. The staff were warm and attentive, making the stay truly memorable. The ryokan is beautifully maintained, with serene gardens and a variety of stunning onsens to enjoy. Both breakfast and dinner were outstanding—beautifully presented and delicious. It’s a bit hard to reach on foot (about a 30-minute walk from the station), but the hotel provides a free taxi or shuttle service to and from the nearest station, which is very convenient. Highly recommended for a relaxing, luxurious stay.

We had a great experience living here. Everything is perfect, the food, the bath, the room and the service. We really enjoyed the view when taking the bath in our private room. The food is delicious, we have tasted so many different Japanese dishes. We strongly recommend Sanso Tensui!

We drove to this place and they welcome us at the car park. The staffs were very very helpful. Check in was smooth and we got a surprise upgrade from the boss. It was indeed a wonderful Christmas present for our family. The room, the food, the vibes were exceeding our expectation. I will definitely recommend my friend and will also come back again in the future.

지난해 한번 방문이후 두번째 방문이었습니다. 여전히 친절한 접객과 훌륭한 서비스는 변함이 없네요. 여름에 방문할때와는 또다른 매력이 넘치는 곳입니다. 석식 가이세키요리는 지난번 방문때와는 완전히 다른 종류의 계절음식이 준비되어 여행의 재미를 2배로 만들어 준것 같습니다. 여건만 허락한다면 조만간 또 방문하고 싶네요.

The services of the staff is superb. The room is tastefully decorated and the food is excellent!

The cleansing and other skin care products are very limited in the onsen.
