Best Western Martinsville Inn

The Best Western Martinsville Inn was conveniently located and although an older hotel it has been recently renovated. Very clean with large, comfortable rooms and a friendly staff. Although breakfast choices weren't extensive there were hot and cold items as well as waffles and the hot items were different each day of our stay. The only downside was that the internet connection was not good. However, that was only a minor inconvenience for us.

Comfortable bed, good A/C, first floor room, close to door, good shower

There was a smell in the common areas and the room, didn't feel "clean".

We were told to use our keycard to enter the backdoor for closest entry to our room. The back door was wide open. There was brown sticky stuff all over the furniture that I cleaned off with baby wipes. The room was so damp that the towels were not dry. As we were changing clothes to go to our daughter's wedding a man said "Maintenance " knocked on door and opened it. Then said 'Oops sorry. I need to get an updated list of occupied rooms". We will not be staying at this location ever again.

Great. Clean. Very nice and helpful.

It was adequate for our needs, staff was very nice. Our bathroom sink was completely stopped up, however. Everything else is fine.

Friendly, outgoing staff.

Outdated and room had a strong musty smell. No elevator. Not easy to get to from interstate. It was a last minute booking and served a very basic purpose of a bed & shower but the smell definitely needs dealt with.

I want to give a huge shout out to Ashley at the front desk! She really took care of us and we are so very grateful for her. She is easily one of the kindest, most helpful and accommodating staff members I have ever met at a hotel. Thank you, Ashley!
