Hy Lytham St Anne's

The staff was lovely, location was great, pool facilities was very good small but more then sufficient. the apartment Was handy I think the one I had was too small for me and my family it was sold as sleeps 4 as it had a bedroom with a double bed and the living room/kitchen/dinner had a sofa bed but it really shouldn't have slept 4 if that makes sense it made the apartment very cramped when the sofa bed was down this would have been perfect if it had just been myself and husband then the apartment would have been perfect You do have to pre book the hotel pool but staff are great and will let you book before you go there was only two days we wanted to go to the pool and couldn't (because of no spaces) I didn't want to prebook for the almost two weeks we was there as I wasn't too sure on my own plans due to seeing family but I'm sure I could have been in the pool more had I known my itinerary in advance Pool was also lovely and warm

The hallway was so noisy and you could hear EVERYTHING through the super thin walls, We had the downstairs flat and the big bay window didn't have any net curtains in it so whenever anyone walked past they could see the whole of the "sofa bed" kitchenette so it made me feel quite uncomfortable as I was on holiday on my own with my kids without my husband we also had an incident on our 1st day where we had been let into our apartment early (very nice of them) however once we'd moved everything in (we was staying just under 2weeks) I was in the bathroom when the front door to the apartment opened my daughter quickly shut it shouted me and the door opened again it was a young couple who had been assigned my apartment! They was lovely and in just as much shock as me we all went to the front desk and the manager wasn't around the lady at the front desk said sorry it was a mistake and seemed unbothered by it! My children was worried for the next few days as was I as it seems like there should have been something on the system that didn't allow them to come into my flat as a woman on her own with children it was quite scary the lady at the desk said the manager would contact me but I never heard from anyone about it again! It was like she just thought it was no big deal but it felt like a big deal to us!

Very spacious apartment. The hotel staff were welcoming and helpful. The hotel pool was really lovely.

The only problem we had were the doors into the apartments. It seems like a small thing but they banged every time. As a family we had 3 rooms and where in and out of each other's rooms. This made it extremely noisy for other customers.
