Mayan Spirit

It’s right on the lake. Food was decent.

No hot water. Shabby deck area. The curtains don’t cover the windows completely and the room was right in front so people can see in when the light is on at night and the light comes into the room in the morning.

Mayan spirit is a small haven right outside Flores where you can enjoy the lake on a private beach with hammocks The staff is incredibly nice and friendly as well as reactive when you need them (shoutout to Kevin) Being away from Flores island makes it really quiet and relaxed, which makes it a really good balance with the city, it was really an amazing place to stay ! Just be careful and plan not to come back too late in the evening, lancha trips are charged after 9pm and the later the more expensive Thanks for everything ☺️

Would have loved to have a table in the room to put all our stuff

Very nice views, decent food, clean room with AC.

Would be nice if you could clean the leasure area (with hammocks) from leaves and trash. Would be good to know that you only get 2 free transfers from Flores and that if you want a transfer before 7am it costs 150QTZ (fortunately there are boats that can do that for half the price)

The place and the hosts are nice

The room was not the greatest and the wiring of the shower heating system is potentially dangerous.

I loved the nature around—peaceful surroundings# stunning views# breathtaking sunset views# sunbathing at the lake#best Jamaica juice#the details in their garden#the pots#the wooden decks. Furthermore, the staff was very kind, polite, and helpful. They even have boats to transfer you to the island of Flores in just 2 minutes! ♡ Muchísimas gracias para todo 🙏🏼

This is an amazing place a short trip away from Flores island. The owner will pick you up and drop you off with this boat. It was great to sleep right by the lake and have some peace and quiet. You can go explore san miguel, visit playa chechenal and el mirador

Very friendly and helpful staff. Getting to and from the island couldn't be easier - just send Miguel a text message and a few minutes later he'll pick you up.
