Excellent boat service all day and night between the hotel and flores island. Hotel staff was very friendly. Breakfast was tasty.

The location on the island is remote and very calm

The hotel does not provide basic items such as soap and shampoo. Also the interior lacks basic items such as hangers or boards to place things. Restaurant and additional boat trips are relatively expensive

I like the location and the peaceful atmosphere

Very relaxing location right next to the water, the boat shuttle to the island was very convenient and the waiting time was never more than 5/10 min. Room was very clean and comfortable, with mosquito net in the window and big bathroom. Very good breakfasts that you can order in their restaurant.

The hotel is located close to the lake with an amazing view of the Flores island. Its location is the greatest asset of the place. The room was ok, the food as well. Nothing special.

The staff tried to trick and cheat us at every turn. Nothing was ever as agreed and communication was extremely complicated, unfriendly, and unreliable. One example: we booked a private boat ride for a day trip to a wildlife center nearby and were given a high price to which we agreed. When we arrived at the destination we were told that the boat would only wait for one hour. And that a longer wait would cost more money. This was never mentioned before. We refused to pay more than agreed. Other example: we came back at 8pm from a Tikal tour. We had told the receptionist our arrival time and had asked for the boat to pick us up. For some reason the boat waited somewhere else without telling us. In the end we had to wait 45 minutes until finally someone came to pick us up and take us the 5 minutes to the hotel. Of course, nobody ever apologized.

Absolutely magic little location, and wonderful and very accommodating staff. We had a lovely stay for my birthday in the little boat tiny house over the water. So cute. I highly recommend it!

The location offered quietness away from Flores Island. Staff always there to assist us. Good walks from the hotel.

There were no cupboards, shelves or hooks for clothing and towels.
