Room location was great (boardwalk/beach view). No carpet in the room. Balcony.

Our air conditioner was very loud when it came on. The balcony door did not lock, but we were on the 4th floor. The pillows were not very big or comfortable. Room 406

The positives first: the location is excellent and within walking distance of countless restaurants, shops, and attractions. The oceanfront views from our room were beautiful, the beds were comfortable, and having complimentary coffee available in the lobby all day was a nice touch.

We have stayed at Paradise Plaza Inn before and unfortunately this visit was a disappointment compared to our previous experiences. Unfortunately, the negatives outweighed the positives. The rates have increased significantly, and now guests are charged daily for parking for each vehicle. At the prices they charge (over $500 per night during our stay), parking should be included. We also had to request towels and sheets for the pull-out sofa, and our key cards repeatedly stopped working, forcing us to ride down from the 7th floor to the front desk multiple times. The biggest issue was the air conditioning. The hallway on the 7th floor was extremely hot, with the thermostat reading 91 degrees. Staff acknowledged the hallway AC was broken, yet several guests were discussing switching rooms because their rooms weren't cooling properly either. One woman said she had already switched rooms three times, while others mentioned ongoing problems with the key cards from previous stays. Despite this, the front desk and maintenance staff insisted the AC was working and implied the key card issues were somehow our fault, even though multiple guests were experiencing the same problems. Sleeping in the heat was miserable, and for the price we paid, it was simply unacceptable. I could understand minor inconveniences at a budget hotel, but not at this price point. I would have appreciated honesty and transparency instead of feeling like our concerns were being dismissed. To top it off, I was questioned and treated as though I wasn't even a guest when I came in from the beach to use the lobby restroom and get a cup of coffee. Even after I told the employee I was staying at the hotel and provided my room number when asked, I still felt accused. It was an unnecessary and unprofessional interaction that only added to an already dis Sadly, this hotel seems to have gone downhill since our last visit. Based on this experience, we will not be returning.

Great location! Staff very accommodating and pleasant. They are very pet friendly. The rooms were clean. Not a luxury hotel but provided us a great vacation. We will definitely be returning. Great value hotel that is currently doing some renovations to make your stay more comfortable.
