Great location for car travelers visiting Shutlleworth Air shows - it only takes few minutes to get to Old Warden Airfield from Stanford.

"Stay was ok but was not as good as on a previous visit. Change of management?"

Location, comfy bed, clean room

Purchased room with breakfast and evening meal as a package. Not convinced it was value for money. Aghast that a dog was allowed to be "seated" at a table in the restaurant in the evening. Nigh on all TV channels pixelated Breakfast only served from 08:30 at weekends with access to the dining area controlled by an outside door. Door only unlocked a minute or two prior to 08:30

Staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable. The cooked breakfast was excellent.

The stairs to the upper floor are rather steep and can be a problem if you are mobility compromised. Advise the pub when booking if this applies.

"If there's no where else, maybe stay here"

Good location for Shuttleworth House, easy to get too and free parking.

Room not cleaned well with blood on windows, bathroom dirty. Service not great and not very attentive despite being not that busy, quite run down place overall. Food okay but alot of money for what you get.

"Peaceful, but needs a little love injected into the rooms"

Bedding and towels clean. Peaceful location. Rooms and bathroom a good size. Food fabulous.

Tired and in need of a bit of TLC. Bed very soft giving bad back. Stains on divan part of bed, what appears to be water leak marks on walls, TV cracked on case and lines across screen when switched on. As I say the room just needs some TLC.

"Value for money in a quiet village"

It was a relaxed pub, not busy as it was Wednesday but as I was in England for a funeral it was ideal. Good sized room, clean comfortable bed, reliable WiFi and value for money food. Ample parking . Fine breakfast.

No issues.

Secluded location but still close to Biggleswade. Nice staff. Superb breakfast. Very good value for money. Comfortable bed.

Although spotlessly clean, the hotel could do with updating and feels a little dated.
