Very quiet room and a good size

Bar closed early Sunday evening. Bed slightly uncomfortable. Television was difficult to operate

Easy to find. Nice white towels and bedding. Plenty of tea and coffee. Nice size room and ensuite

Was shown to our room and the door was pointed out to us, "its over there" I had to ask which room he was pointing to as no number on the key. Room 10 was like stepping back into the 1980's. Poor fitting door which made it difficult to enter the room. Old furniture. Mattress very poor and in need of replacing, resulting in a poor nights sleep as so uncomfortable. Carpet felt like it had been laid on concrete. Poor quality curtains which let light flood into the room. Constant buzzing in the room sounded like it was coming from next door. Cracked bath panel. Sink pop up plug stuck in sink. Needs a full refit.

Staff were friendly and pub was in a convenient location for a local event nearby which we were attending.

Room, although large was desperately in need of refurbishment. Booked this hotel after looking at the photos which made the rooms look lovely. Our room, No.11, was a far cry from lovely. Carpet exceptionally old, clunky old fashioned furniture, paper thin walls, tired bathroom fittings. The saving grace were the nice biscuits. Unfortunately, on returning to our room later in the evening, our neighbours were playing music at a high volume. Decided it wasn't somewhere we wanted to stay and left.

A good location for us to visit family

Tired and dated. Outside area is littered with cigarette butts and is uninviting. I was told last summer this accommodation was being refurbished but there is no sign of any updating.

Location, friendly and helpful staff. Lovely breakfast.

Rooms especially the bathroom look a little tired

Room carpet and furniture needed a good clean or replacing, especially the carpet. Chairs were stained and old. Dressing table had some kind of splatter on it. The bed creaks with every slight movement. Room 4
