St George's Hotel

Lovely property, nice rooms

Excellent stay in friendly well run hotel.

Could have done with indoor swimming pool and a sauna and steam room

Beautifully appointed hotel, both outside and in. Worthy of its 4 star rating. Check in was personal and friendly. Porterage was offered but we didn't use it. There is a lift to all floors and although there are 5 steps down to the breakfast room, a stair lift is available for those with limited mobility. Our bedroom was equipped with a king size bed a large flat screen TV, telephone and air conditioning, an en-suite bathroom with shower over the bath. Tea and coffee making facilities bottled complimentary water and biscuits. There is also a formal restaurant and informal dining in the bar area. Two very different menus but both serving excellent cuisine. All the staff were friendly and communicative, which we found quite refreshing. All in all we found the St George's Hotel to be very good value for money, well placed for the town centre, Mostyn Street being just a couple of minutes walk away. The only down side, limited on site parking. We will return.

Booked a deluxe double with kingsized bed , got a family room with double and single bed in. Queried at reception who blamed booking with expdia/hotels.com and advised it had a king bed. Returned to ask why had i got a room thar costs less than i paid and no it was not a king sized bed , no interest in the issue and said ide got what they had. It was a good room.i said thats not my complaint about cleanliness or good room, i didnt get what i paid for . Dismissive staff at reception. Restaurant staff good, food was good . Attitude to paying customer like they couldnt care less , would recommend you go somewhere else. Had no issue with the Devon or Ruabon accommodation i booked with hotels.com in same week so this hotels reason for basically ripping me off is unfounded in blaming online booking platforms. Stay elswhere , but this review is our experience as a holiday maker Couple in UK from Australia . Not impressed at How this hotel treated us as paying guests. Your experience may be different if you book through a 3rd party.

We stayed at the St George’s for a family funeral. The staff and service were excellent. Very good breakfast!

Great customer service with a comfortably relaxed atmosphere

easy check in, room ready early (1hr).Lucky enough to get a parking place in hotels car park. Tip...if you are lucky do NOT move the car until you leave,you may not be so lucky second time!!

Excellent clean room. Location of hotel very convenuent for pier ,shops and seafront. Foid was excellent and all staff very friendly.
