Hotel el Descanso

Todo relativamente bien, no me gustó nada que no tuviera un solo ventilador en la habitación Alquilé una estancia de dos noches para 4 adultos y tuvimos mucho calor

Me gusto la ubicacion, esta a 3 cuadras del zocalo, zona tranquila. El personal de recepcion es muy atento.

Excellent value, great terraces for reading etc, good restaurant down stairs and very convenient.

Wifi in room not good, on the terraces it was fine

very clean and comfortable stay! Excellent location and for the price it truly is the best place you can stay if you are looking for a place in the city center at an affordable price.

The walls are extremely thin, you can literally hear other guests snoring in the room next to you.. Sometimes this was uncomfortable especially at night time, it would be better if the walls were a bit better in terms of sound proofing. I would also suggest to the hotel to change the glass doors as they are very thin and a lot of noise comes in. As well as a lot of light coming from the hallways. Perhaps a better solution would be to install sensor lights so that at night they only turn on when there are guests walking through that area and it won't disturb sleeping guests since the doors are all glass a lot of light comes into the rooms.

The location

The bed was really uncomfortable. I had to turn 8n the key each time I left. No parking. And the WiFi in the room was very slow

The location is excellent (this is the major benefit), and for the amount paid it is fairly good value for money. The male check-in staff was also pleasant enough and smiled.

Upon checking in, the woman at check-in seemed very grumpy. I had booked a double room because it was the cheapest option at the time, and she quizzed me in an almost confrontational way about whether I was really okay to sleep in the same bed as my male travel partner (which is no issue at all for us). Any kind of personal issues should never be pushed onto the customer to make us feel uncomfortable like this. Also the room had a pretty awful smell of sewage, and when turning on the shower, for a good 5-10 seconds the shower smelt like toilet backflow. The walls are paper thin, so you can hear the television next door as if it were in the same room. Also some rooms have high windows into the corridor, so the light comes in. Finally, the pillows were incredibly uncomfortable (thin and very hard, probably old pillows that hadn't been replaced in 10+ years), so I had to put my own clothes under the pillow to make it bearable. All in all pretty uncomfortable.

Hotel muy bien ubicado en el centro de Puebla. El personal muy amable. las habitaciones limpias. El internet con poco cobertura en las habitaciones. Sería importante instalar un ascensor para hacer accesible

Central location - quiet environment in the back part of the hotel- the spacious and well set up internal patio - great value

No coffee/tea or kettle in room but understandable at that price range
