VISU VILLA hotel

Das Zimmer war sehr schlicht, hatte aber alles, was man braucht. Besonders schln war der Pool. Zudem half Ruwan, Daytrips und die Weiterreise zu organisieren. Habarana ist toll, da es noch nicht so von Touristen hat. :)

On se sent vraiment très bien dans cette guesthouse ! Le boss est très gentil et prend soin de ses clients. Accueil très chaleureux et professionnel. Excellent petit déjeuner. Les repas sont aussi très bons et copieux. La piscine est très agréable après les visites.

The hotel is calm and welcoming with good food. The staff gives impeccable service and the manager is charming and professional. He helped with all my needs: arrival by train, ayurvedic treatment, elephant safari, taxi for next destination ... I would love to return one day

It’s very rustic and simple. AC is very functional. There were a few hiccups, but the outstanding staff addressed everything immediately. Everything I tried on the menu was delicious. There isn’t a lot to do in Habarana, but it’s a great location to stay if you want to visit the cave temple, Sigiriya, Miniriya and Polonnaruwa. The first three are less than 30 mins away. Polonnaruwa was a fast hour.

Ruwan is a brilliant host, experienced in hospitality. He organised several good value trips and went out of his way to ensure we saw what we wanted to see. Ruwan is also a talented cook and his meals were extremely flavourful. Pool was lovely. Room was not the one we were expecting and although clean and with nice balcony it felt a bit small for 5 nights.

This was our second time staying here and for good reasons. We loved it so much the first time that we couldn’t resist coming back. The vibe of the hotel is just perfect: relaxed, welcoming, and the host is really helpful, which makes the whole experience feel special. One of the real highlights is the food: breakfast in particular was absolutely amazing, with plenty of delicious options and fresh ingredients that set the tone for the day. We felt right at home and will definitely be returning again.

Amazing place. The owner is a great man, friendly and helped us to organize an elephant safari with competitive price. Location is good and breakfast is amazing. 100% recommend.
