Roami at Hotel Astor

Stayed 4 nights and both front desk guys where very helpful. Wonderful location for everything beach, food and fun!

Great location. There is no check in counter so you’ll be give a code prior to arriving to access the main door and your room door. Hotel is currently doing some renovations in the main lobby but the room itself was clean and spacious.

OK, this is a one off for me. I’m saying that this property is great if you use the particular room that I used. It is large sunny area. It has a great views of the city and old world charm. If you were back in 1920s to 40s eras of Miami, I would definitely use this room again Again I repeat room the resort is under a renovation and I imagine will be better when it’s done

Upon the day of arrival, we had no washcloth towels in our room and were forced to go out at 11pm to find and buy our own towels in order to take showers. The next day room service did bring two towels, one for each guess and we were given these for an entire 6 day trips our second day the toilet would not flush. Maintenance come out and fix it, but we continued to have problems throughout the trip. Third day, we get back to our room and we’re locked out in the middle of night. We were given a different code and door code probably wasn’t working due to WiFi issues…unacceptable. Then the grand finale… we come back to the hotel one night after a long day and we count a total of five rats running throughout the hotel lobby. Upon departure, I did disclose all of this in person to the property manager. Each individual incident was also reported to customer service by phone and requested to speak with a supervisor but was told to call back.

No microwave no ice machine we had to walk up the stairs due to the elevator not working but for the price it was worth it .

No desk personnel during peak operations. The entire hotel smelled like dirty water. My family was very upset with me for booking this hotel never again! The site misrepresented what they had to offer classic bait and switch.
