The apartment itself was a modern masterpiece and it was immaculately clean. The bathtub was lovely and the apartment had a balcony overlooking central Cefalu. We really enjoyed our evening there, and it was a wonderful place to relax after a long day of hiking and exploring.

A few minor issues: the locks to the doors are controlled by an app you need to download before you enter. The app itself doesn't work very well and seems prone to failures. It worked for the main door, the secondary door, but not the door to the apartment. We had to contact the host in order to figure out a solution and it took a little while for them to respond, leaving us wondering how we were going to get into our room. Within about 30 minutes we made proper contact with the host and she directed us to a set of backup keys to get us into the main room. The door outside the unit isn't clearly labeled with the correct room numbers, so it can be difficult to determine if you're in the correct place within the building. Finally, finding parking was an *enormous* challenge, and once you find your spot (be careful that it's not resident parking only!), you'll probably have to carry your baggage a little ways and up several flights of stairs.

Beautiful modern apartment with all the modern facilities one needs. Very clean with the provision plenty of towels, coffee etc. The bed was very comfy.

The electronic key system was a bit of a mystery initially and I needed to ring for help initially. The housekeeper was very helpful and supplied us with keys although the electronic key did work fine after I figured it out. I would suggest the provision of a few cups.

Excellent location (once you walk there) in the heart of the historic district. Room had a small balcony overlooking the main walking street below.

We had to park in the beach parking lot about a 12 minute walk away as there is no parking near this facility (as it’s in the historic district). Make sure you follow hosts directions to get there and don’t just look it up on google maps as it took us to the wrong locations. Would have liked a second chair so my wife and I could both sit on the balcony together. No coffee pods at coffee pot nor water in the small fridge in the hallway. You’ll need to carry your luggage up three flights of narrow stairs.

Could not light the stove. No automatic pilot and no matches left 74 stairs from ground to loft! We got used to it.

The location was amazing. The place was beautiful, wonderfully decorated very clean.

Very noisy - street noise, part of the charm, but when the garbage truck is emptying wine bottles from the dumpster at 4am, it loses it’s charm., Room was clean and tidy, but no blankets, just a top sheet, thin pillows (could have benefit from two pillows). There was a Nespresso in the common area (landing, otherwise no real breakfast). Room had small balcony that looked over busy street, nice slice of life and night life, sea was visible across the roof tops - charming.

The pictures are beautiful it’s a shame that the reality is different. Good thing the location is good.

THERE IS NO ELEVATOR!!! It’s a shame they forgot to mention it.. only the evening before. The key didn’t work, Not the App and not the physical - and the staff was not to be found. We where left with babies on the street at evening. The apartment was filthy. The floor, the sofa (which wasn’t prepared as a bed as we paid for..), the bathrooms and the bed sheets. No responsibility was taken only excuses. No invoice was sent or given.
