Friendly and helpful staff. The private onsen was amazing. The 4 person room was lovely. The futon beds are hard for non-Japanese, but staff got us extra mattresses.

There was a bad smell of mould in the room on arrival. With open windows it disappeared after some hours.

This hotel was in a great location near the bus station and lots of restaurants, stores, etc. It was super quiet and the view from our 4th floor was delightful. The private onsens were a great temperature, and the outdoors one was particularly nice! I loved the vibe in the Japanese style room with minimalist design and sliding paper shades.

The futons were not very comfortable, unfortunately. I was ok as a back sleeper, but my partner who is a side sleeper was unable to sleep well because they were so hard. I don't know if this is typical of futons, or if these just need to be replaced? Also, the towels they gave us were pretty thin and small -- for a business centered around water, I think nice towels (and two per person?) would better meet expectations.

De kamers waren erg ruim. De locatie is perfect, een leuk klein dorpje. Het is een erg basic hotel.

De onsen zijn echt niet hygiënisch, schimmel op de muren, krukjes zijn kapot. Het is gewoon vervallen en kan wel een opknapbeurt gebruiken.

We very much enjoyed the location and the onsens. One was out of service though. The rooms were dated, but clean. Staff was very friendly.

The beds were the thinnest mattress on a hard floor. We asked if we could double our mattresses to help but they only had extra for 2 out the 4 of our beds. So we made due with the sitting pillows in the room. Made for an uncomfortable couple nights.
