No common area onsen, just 3 private ones that you have to just wait for. Quality/cleanliness of it could be better

Service sympathique, onsen extérieur vraiment très agréable. Peu de chambres ce qui fait que l’hôtel reste à taille humaine. C’est plus agréable.

Futons très durs et chambre pas insonorisée. On entend tous les pas et mouvements du voisin. Le frigo bien qu’utile faisait des vibrations qu’on pouvait sentir dans notre oreiller

The hotel is conveniently located in Hirayu Onsen, making it a good base for visiting Kamikochi. The room was spacious (though not the bathroom), and the onsen facilities were a highlight, with two indoor baths and a pleasant outdoor bath surrounded by nature. One of the staff members was also particularly friendly and welcoming

The hotel did not feel like a four-star property. The room showed signs of wear, with damaged paper screens and stained surfaces, while the bathroom was very small and the air conditioning was not very effective. Communication could be difficult due to limited English spoken by staff. Parts of the property also appeared poorly maintained, including missing tiles in the outdoor onsen. Given the relatively high price and lack of food service, the overall experience did not offer good value compared to other hotels we stayed at in Japan.
