Ana Frank Boutique Hotel

Ana Frank maintain a lovely property in the wonderful Miraflores district. It's within walking distance of all tourist spots and good restaurants. Larcomar is a short can ride away and will cost you approximately 3-4 USD. The property itself is gorgeous with luxurious furnishings and you can clearly see the attention to detail. A small breakfast is provided every morning and you also have access to a fully functional kitchen if you need anything. The couple were gracious to allow us to keep our luggage and use the restroom even after we checked out since our flight was later in the evening.

Ana Frank Boutique Hotel is a beautiful, centrally-located residence in Miraflores. We arrived at midnight after a 35-hour flight from Australia and owner Frank was there to greet us. Our room was very comfortable (excellent mattress!), and every floor has been beautifully and thoughtfully decorated. We were so happy that we booked the hotel again for our final days in Lima at the end of our trip.

Nothing - we loved it.

Clean room, comfortable bed, close to Huaca Pucllana, many restaurants, and the trails/parks along the ocean. Frank is super nice. He gave us tips for touring around and made us feel at home right upon our arrival. We very much enjoyed the kitchen and outdoor dining area as well, which was convenient and really felt like home.

The facility is very clean like a museum. Fancy furnishings.

My window faced the street and it was very noisy. The room was very cold and no portable heater was available. There is a gap in the door frame to wall that I could see the lobby desk with the door shut. The staff was friendly at first but soon became rude. Yelling and shaking her finger at me when I mentioned the gap. I left after 1 night but Frank charged me for the week and he signed for my credit card himself.

Host said they did not make breakfast, but coffee and tea. I therefore went to a cafe for breakfast. Next morning I saw marmelade on table, and bought juice etc. in a shop behind them, and had breakfast at home. I did a tour with the guy the hotel uses. It was axkward having to spend 8-10 hours with a guy, being solo, also at your lunch table, or wherever you sit, and you are expected to pay for him too. I changed the programme and did a shorter tour. He stopped a few times for gas as he only put 5 usd a time. I would recommend the hop on hop off bus instead with a view from above (double decker bus) and much more freedom and privacy. It cost 1/3 and took me to the best places to see. It leaves from Larcomar Shopping Mall. Takes 4-5 hours.

Good neighbourhood. Many things in walking distance (parks, restaurants, markets). Frank was very friendly and always ready to help out. Airport transfer was very convenient even early morning at 6am. Very comfortable (large) beds.

Breakfast could have been a bit more diverse but for us it was good enough.

Frank and Ana were so welcoming and friendly, and afforded as much privacy as we wanted

I wish we could have stayed longer

The breakfast was a simple continental one with fruit, eggs, toast and home made jam. Good coffee and tea to finish. The room and common areas were of high quality, quiet and efficient. The location in Mia Flores was very central to great restaurants, shops and parks. Our hosts were friendly, professional and very helpful. They made us feel it was a home away from home!

For long stays a little more variety in breakfast, such as a granola and eggs done differently.
