A penalty of US$ 250 will be charged for smoking in the room. A penalty of US$ 350 will be charged if the keys are lost. In accordance with Peru's fiscal regulations, Peruvian citizens (and foreigners staying over 59 days in Peru) are required to pay 18% sales tax. To be exempt from paying the 18% sales tax, guests must present a copy of their immigration card and of their passport. It is necessary to present both documents in order to qualify for sales tax payment exemption. Otherwise, guests will have to pay the indicated tax. This tax is applicable in the case of rooms shared by guests who have to pay the sales tax and guests exempt from paying the sales tax. Foreign business guests who request a printed invoice are also required to pay 18% sales tax, regardless of the length of their stay in Peru. This tax is not automatically included in the total amount of the reservation. A deposit may be required at the property.

"Nice place in miraflores"

Comfortable room and beautiful decoration. We had a little issue with hot water but frank was very quick to fix it. Nice hot shower with good pressure. Frank, the host, was very helpful and has many written recommendations and map of lima. We felt welcomed. The hotel is very well situation to visit miraflores.

Breakfast consisted of hard boil eggs, cereal, white bread, fresh orange juice, jams, banana bread, bananas, coffee, tea. Good breakfast but if you want a hot breakfast or some variety, better to go to a breakfast/brunch restaurant. (thankfully there are many close by around). Room can be a little cold in june, not sure if they have a heater but to consider if you get cold easily.

Ana Frank is a very comfortable bed & breakfast with very accommodating hosts. It is more of a bed and breakfast than a boutique hotel. It is very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Frank is especially helpful with directions and recommendations (in English). Ana Frank is convenient to the heart of Miraflores and walkable to the entire district.

Frank was AMAZING! The hotel is a small boutique and truly lives up to its title. Frank was incredibly nice, highly communicative, and a lovely person overall. I absolutely adored his guidebook. Everything was clean and surprisingly well-maintained. While breakfast wasn't extravagantly fancy, it was satisfying enough. The hotel has a fantastic location, just a 3-minute walk to Parque Kennedy, the heart of Lima.

"Lovely Stay"

Beautiful hotel. Frank was a fabulous host and very informative about the area. The bed was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in and room was well decorated.

Breakfast and value for money, perhaps a little off the pace compared to other hotels in Peru. Nevertheless, lovely stay and would wholeheartedly recommend for a bit of luxury.

"Excellent lixation, clean and hospitable host."

Excellent location and cleanliness. Restaurants, banks, tourists spots, stores and even laundry are walkable. Frank was a superb hosts-he knows his city, gave us valuable tips and lists, very hospitable and speaks very good English. His nephew, Diego, toured as around Lima and its many suburbs and towns. If ever you need a guide to tour you in Lima, ask Frank to introduce you to Diego.

No elevator :-(
