This place is beautiful but not only that it’s in walking distance of a lot of historic buildings. We stayed in the green room the bed was absolutely one of the best beds we have slept in on our whole trip. The community is so quiet and the owner is so informative and a genuinely nice person. He has a passion for brewing his own and is so excited about sharing knowledge on the topic. If I could rate this place a 10 I would! The accommodations were fitting. The restroom was down the hall but we don’t mind that. The owner made us feel like we were home away from home! In the future if we come back to Georgetown this where we will be staying.

For many years I have researched the Waccamaw River plantations as an author and as an historian. I’ve spent thousands of hours trapsing all over Georgetown, but because I lived in Pawleys Island, I’d never stayed there until two days ago. The Brewhouse Inn was lovely and charming and perfectly represents my love for Georgetown and its people. Beer is brewed on the property and free samples greet you at the door. It had a shared bath that I wasn’t thrilled about, but it turned out not to be a problem at all. Treat yourself; plan a trip to the Brewhouse Inn.

My daughter and I enjoyed a quick girls trip. Perfect stay for a night in Georgetown. Very unique. We checked ourselves in via key box. Decor is really neat. 3 rooms to choose from (3 rooms share 2 bathrooms). We had zero problems with that. Worked out well. Very very quiet. Stocked with everything you need. Light continental breakfast. (Muffins, granola, coffee, etc) oh..did I mention free beer on tap? Even root beer. Very short walk to the main strip/boardwalk. My daughter enjoyed browsing the “free library” out front. (You take a book/leave a book). Lots of options for dining and shopping. I even forgot something in the room and they contacted me quickly. We arranged for me to grab it that afternoon. Talk about service! Would definitely book here again.

The only reason for not rating this property excellent was our assumption that the brewhouse was actually a bed and breakfast. We didn't taste the beers and were disappointed that breakfast was not part of the package. Hey, nothing against beer; we're just not big beer drinkers.

Used as a one night on a road trip south. Arrived 7pm remote access via lock box (not used to having no staff on site but found it so easy) bars just a block away for a night cap. Would recommend for any Brits on a road trip. Street parking but very safe looking area.

I rebooked

Joseph greeted us and was eager for us to try his home brew which we really enjoyed. He let us know about the local history and his brewing journey. We had a very comfortable and quiet room with all that is needed including beer😀
