Excellent food and drink served efficiently. Lovely hosts and canine friends. Fascinating house with loads of history. Worth a repeat visit.

House and rooms require some attention, especially as price was the most we paid compared to three other recent stays.

Thrumster House is a magnificent, quirky country house full of history and interest. The surrounding gardens are fascinating and worth exploring by themselves. The hosts couldn't have been more friendly and helpful - when the local inn couldn't feed us, they shared their delicious home cooked dinner with us, and regaled us with tales of the area. This truly is a one off experience!

Really there is nothing to complain of but this isn't isn't a super modern place. That said the odd peeling wall paper or thing out of place is really part of the character and should be enjoyed for what it is.

Our stay at Thrumster was excellent 👌 The hosts we're very friendly and couldn't do enough for us, our breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices. I would definitely recommend staying at this House as it's quirky, fun and the hosts are lovely 😍
