Hotel Bijou - Union Square

The sheet was a bit stained but overall clean. The hairdryer had some type of sticky residue on it so i had to use the bag to hold it. The area is noisy and sketxhy

Great hotel! Will absolutely stay here again!!

The TV was stuck in auto scan and never worked for our stay. The light word turn off and on. The pipes rattled while taking a shower.

TV not working, door not working, drain pipe outside window dripping all night loud in unit even w window closed (not raining), hairs on shower wall.

Called during check-in about directions for off-site parking, front desk didnt even know the address to it. After finding the place, we were told it was full - parking is not guaranteed. Wifi was not working and front desk said “I could switch your rooms, but it probably won’t work anyways”. TV does not work without wifi, sheets were stained yellow and room smelled bad. Deceiving listing, when I approached front desk about these issues during checkout, they proceeded to blame expedia for the listing, I’m still waiting for their manager to contact me.

I wish Hotels.com included a safety rating as part of their reviews. The neighborhood around the hotel felt extremely sketchy and unsafe to walk through — very uncomfortable overall. I think I heard gunshots on the street during the night we stayed. We couldn’t get any rest and ended up leaving for the airport at 4 a.m. It’s not necessarily the hotel’s fault, but I wouldn’t have chosen it if I’d known the area was this unsafe. Definitely not recommended for families.

Punya was great in helping take care of my stay - wonderful hospitality all around. The hotel is super clean and modern and the breakfast is a wonderful touch. The area can be a bit loud at night, but the hotel provides earplugs which cancel out all the noise. Overall a great experience!

Need more water in the shower, blackout curtains too

The place is a disaster, smells awful. Nothing like the pictures. On top of that if this is your first time in San Francisco this is the worst place to stay, is unsafe, full of homeless and dangerous people.
