Room with amazing view of Mountain Fuji.
Woke up to the breathtaking view of Mount Fuji, which can also be seen from various directions from Gotemba Premium Outlet which is also a short walk away. Located right next to an onsen which is free access for Hotel Clad guests. Enjoyed my stay tremendously. I hope to come back again!
Literally right beside the gotemba outlets so super convenient. food options wasnt the best for japan standards in gotemba so you better drive further to eat. room was super small but not unexpected for this price, view of Mount Fuji was amazing, we got perfect view 2 days in a row. lobby view was good and everything was nicely renovated. Value for money.
The hotel was so pretty! You can see Mt Fuji at any angle. Few minutes walk to the famous Gotemba Premium Outlet, there’s a big public bath for hotel guest too (FOC)! Overall it is a very very pretty hotel! The hotel is quite far from the Kawaguchiko area (at least 1 and a half hr bus ride- not express bus), hence would only recommend staying at the hotel if you’re planning to shop at the premium outlet!
Perfect location for shopping. Also love the onsen and massage service at the hotel.
We chose to stay here to have plenty of time to visit the Gotemba mall and for the view of Mt Fuji. Getting to the property by public transport was easy. We caught the train to Gotemba, free shuttle to the mall and walked from there. The room was fantastic. A little small but the view made up for it. It was nice and clean and there were good laundry facilities. The staff were polite but not friendly. We arrived around 2:15 and I didn’t realize but check in was from 3pm. Normally I would expect if the room is available they would just let you in early, but it is more like a rule to them so we had to wait 45 minutes and then everyone who was waiting is all checking in at once. They don’t welcome you or anything more personal like that. Very transactional rather than customer experience driven. Overall, we were very happy and it would be 5 stars if the staff and perhaps the policies they work to were more customer focused.
We live this hotel. Great view of Mt Fuji, and connected to Gotemba outlets. We always do a night here when we visit Japan.
View is amazing but room is small. Location is hard to access and far away from everything. Good thing it’s attached to the premium outlet which gave us something to do during our stay.
Restaurant staff are not friendly. Rooms are small, but efficient enough for a night rest.
