Alley X Tainan

Beautiful and nice little oasis in Tainan city. I had a very relaxing time there with my family. They all enjoyed very much!

Old but quiet.

Hard to find. Dusts on the bamboo divider in the room.

The rooms and area of the bed and breakfast were very well redone. It's an old house but the amenities were really good. The owner/operator was also really nice and helpful. Shower area was great in most rooms. 2 of the 4 had separated shower stalls, but the other 2 had a curtain between the shower and toilet. There were a lot of antiques and older looking things so it was a lot of fun to explore and take photos. The garden area was also beautiful both during the day and at night.

Tons of mosquitoes in the area. Also a lot of ants. It is to be expected and it isn't the fault of the accommodation. We were provided with bug spray and a reminder to keep the doors shut to prevent the bugs from getting in. It was also a bit hard to find, it is really in the alley!

This is a very special place and I feel fortunate to have stayed there. It’s very low-key, yet the attention to detail is striking - everything has been considered with such care. It’s an oasis of calm, hidden in a central location, with a beautiful, peaceful garden.
