A Stay On The Brae

We had a lovely stay here and I would recommend it to anyone. Thank you for sharing your place with us.

Graeme was a fantastic host and provided lots of helpful information to help us make the most of our stay, as well as making us feel very welcome. The room was clean and comfortable for the 2 night stay. Location to the city centre was excellent with a bus stop just outside that took around 20-30 minutes to the city centre and was only £2 per person.

We had a wonderful stay. Graeme was a fabulous host! He was so personable, helpful, and friendly! We appreciated all of his suggestions and his attention to detail.

Our Stay on the Brae was fine, but I think it is advertised as more than it is. It is a bedroom and bath attached to someone's house. You enter the room by walking around back of the house and entering the room from an exterior door. The bedroom was just big enough for the kingsize bed. The owner was very nice and provided for our needs and gave us useful information.

The accommodations and host were wonderful. They met us and showed us around the rooms to make sure that we knew how everything worked. They also gave us great recommendations for food and sights. We were able to contact them quickly if we had any problems and they responded immediately. The bus stop is right outside the house and has buses running into Edinburgh all day. We would love to come and stay here again.

Graeme the host was very accommodating and helpful but also left us to ourselves for privacy. Super close to public transport which worked out very handy:)

Lovely friendly host, handy buses for getting into city, enormous comfy bed! Near to beautiful walks around Braid Hills

Not a big problem but there was no kitchen sink so not really a self catering option. If you're looking for a weekend base with the facilities of a nice hotel suite, this would suit you perfectly.
