A Stay On The Brae

Location was fantastic. Bus stop just outside.

Only one wine glass & it wasn’t clean.

Location and contact with owner is excellent. Would highly recommend for sleeping and bathroom facilities.

No toaster and would not be easy to cook because dishes must be washed in bathroom sink. Wet good place to stay if you are not cooking however.

It felt just like home and the host went out of his way to make sure everything was settled nicely before and during our stay 🙏🏽 definitely a 100/10

My partner and I had a great stay at A Stay On The Brae! The owner, Graeme, was very communicative, sending us a host of suggestions of where to go and things to do, as well as very accommodating, letting us store our luggage with him hours before the check-in and moving everything to the room for us. The location is great, right in front of a bus stop with multiple buses heading into town in 15 minutes or so, and the house is in a lovely quiet area to come back to after a day of exploring. The room has a big, comfy bed, and small kitchen area which is great for preparing breakfast or a small bite, saving us having to go out for every meal. The bathroom is roomy and also a big tub/shower. Overall it was a great place from which to explore Edinburgh from and had everything we needed!

The location was lovely, and a small shop nearby for necessities (i.e. eggs, milk, tea). Host was most pleasant!

What a lovely place to stay for a short break. On the direct bus route into Edinburgh. Lovely comfortable big bed. Friendly host and very informative about the area and recommendations.

Friendly host, everything we needed was in the room. Great location with the bus stop being right outside. Bed was big and very comfortable. Would recommend to anyone who wanted a long weekend away
