The property was clean and quiet. We appreciated having the extra space considering most of the hotel rooms are small. The staff was very welcoming and helpful during our stay. We had a tea ceremony upon arrival with Miki and she offered recommendations for things to do above what we already had planned. The reviews state the property is hard to find but google maps allowed us to locate it with no problem. We are a family of 3 and we highly recommend this property.

There’s was absolutely nothing we didn’t like about the property.

Pictures are very nice but in reality the apartment is quite dark, garden quite small and it is quite difficult to find. I guess it might be ok for a 2+2 family…

Nice and quiet environment. Best breakfast, both Japanese and western! Nice to have a washer with dryer.

We were welcomed so warmly and professionally by Kiyo ( apologies if I have misspelled your name!) and treated to a very lovely quick lesson in making matcha. The house is beautifully and thoughtfully decorated and equipped. The mix of a traditional Japanese Machiya with modern touches has been done perfectly. If you want to stay in a quiet comfortable beautiful space located in a very central location I highly recommend this.

We loved everything.

Staff went above and beyond to make our experience memorable and comfortable. Giving us time and space but also available when needed. We incorporated dinner and breakfast which I highly recommend. Such a unique experience to stay in a matchiya. The place was absolutely stunning.
