The Stamford

The guest house was very well organised easy to access and use. The facilities were perfect for what we needed. For a small fee they ever arranged a small birthday hamper on request which was great. Overall it was a great stay and we would stay again. Only one negative which was not really down to the guest house themselves was that they put us in a room next a family with a small child who was screaming quite a bit and for us as parents away for a rest from our own kids it was a dissapointment when being woke early. A suggestion would be to have families with children on the same floor so that it doesnt affect other guests. Dont let those comments take away what was a great place to stay!

Whilst everything is clean tidy and comfortable its a little strange to not see a membee of staff at all for either check in or check out. However, bedroom was a reasonable size with 6' bed, nice bathroom and other furnishings

Very large bed, good lighting on the landing, when we came in at night

Room was very dark, need a better mirror to do hair by the plugs

Everything was nicely arranged Owners very accommodating

It was just a bed accommodation but with a breakfast cafe 2mins walk it was not need. The bed at this accommodation were absolutely perfect do comfortably

Ease of location to where we needed to be. Facilities provided were excellant. Correspondence by owner , with clear instructions, excellant.

One of the bedrooms in the apartment could be locked which gave some privacy (we were 4 adults and 2 children, aged 5 and 3). Good central position for all the 'holiday' amenities Southport offers. Good communication with Becky before and during our stay. Always an off-street parking space available whilst we were there.
