The staff were the high point of the stay. All the way from front desk through restaurant to housekeeping, everyone was very accommodating and welcoming. The Lakehouse is not the sort of hotel you pick if you're going to be out and about all day and just returning to sleep. It's a beautiful place to spend some time soaking in the ambience and being pampered by the staff. The grounds are landscaped to perfection, with lush lawns and a riot of flowers. Artfully placed armchairs and sofas in 4 connected reading rooms meant we were spoiled for choice when we wanted to settle in with a book and enjoy some high tea. The rooms were very clean, and the cleanliness was maintained to a high standard on a daily basis. The front desk was super helpful with booking tours and cars for us when we needed them. We particularly loved how genuine they were with their smiles and suggestions. Special shout-out to Thilaga, Dev, Param, Kenny, Suresh and Parameswari, as well those whose names we didn't manage to get for the high standard of service rendered. This is a place to which we will definitely be returning.

There was nothing very objectionable. One thing we did notice was that the food options were rather limited. Considering there are no restaurants within walking distance. It would have been nice to have access to a more varied menu.

A beautiful and peaceful stay at The Lakehouse Cameron Highlands. Set on a hillside overlooking a lake, just outside the busier towns of Tanah Rata and Ringlet, the hotel offers a quiet, relaxing escape surrounded by gardens, birdsong, and rainforest.

Service is good. The warm welcome from Balqis and the manager Miss Samantha made us feel at home. The scenery and overall ambience in the interior and exterior is nice and relaxing.
