Marriott Rochester Mayo Clinic

Room was good, clean and comfortable. Access to Mayo was great, never had to go outside. Restaurant was good, service excellent. While coffee was available in the lobby, expected machine in room

Put us in the wrong room and hotel was very rundown

It is with great regret and even a huge degree of disappointment that I must report that this Msrriot Hotel that I have had so many pleasurable visits to over the many years I have been visiting the Mayo has declined to the point that I cannot continue to patronize the Hotel. The facility condition has deteriorated to the point where cleanliness is an issue, mold on the shower curtain, worn and stained towels, carpets that are so worn and soiled that they demand being careful where you walk in your room and a staff that is trying but obviously without the support of the franchise owner. I must mention the 8th floor executive suite facility. The food offered wouldn’t compare quality wise to that found in a soup kitchen and is obviously financially operating as if there is a money problem even though as a guest you pay premium Marriott rates. Do I need to express more disappointment about a formerly great facility that has declined to the point that it is now a stain on the great Marriott hotel chain name?

Extremely convenient for Mayo Clinic. Hotel has gone noticeably downhill, almost shabby. No water in room, no robe, cleaning room only by request, error/overcharged on incidentals, thin staff sometimes doesn't answer phone. We've been coming to this hotel for decades and the difference is stark.

The hotel is old. The beds were horrible and everything was dated. The toilet ran all night Although The staff was kind and helpful the hotel just needs a remodel

The room was nice and quiet, but the coffee maker was not set up, so it looked like there wasn’t any available. Coffee at the front desk was available and great though! The amenities in the listing included sauna and hot tub, both of which we were looking forward to use and were one of the reasons to choose this hotel, but there was no sauna and the hot tub was out of service ☹️

Bathroom was not clean. Used a wet kleenex to clean outside base of shower - kleenex turned brown. Reserved concierge level:- lounge served cold pasta from warming dish and bad wine in a plastic glass for $5. Lounge closed earlier than posted time. Contacted hotel and their response was 'sorry to hear this'.

Liked the proximity to May Clinic. Disliked that no small wash cloths were available in room.

The room was outdated and not the cleanest. One of the elevator fabs was broke. Limited menu . Staff was amazing. Especially the front desk staff.
