Closed due to construction

I booked a room at this hotel over a week before traveling to Mosiness. I had an email confirmation of the reservation and the week before the date, was sent a text message that the hotel was awaiting my arrival. When we arrive at 4:30 pm on Friday of Memorial Weekend, the hotel was locked and under construction. No one around to answer a question.

Hotel is not even open. Still it’s on multiple websites including booking. Com. I booked it through booking.com and when I went it’s deserted/ closed. Called the number listed on my booking and I get answering machine. What a crook hotel owner. Now I am trying to get my money back.

This hotel is still accepting and processing reservations even though the State has closed them down as uninhabitable.

Do not book this hotel! We booked a room so we could get a few hours of sleep before catching an early flight out of CWA. The day prior, we had gotten a confirmation email. When we arrived the hotel was closed due to a maintenance issue that caused serious water damage. This did not just happen. They have been closed for some time. Expedia managed to book us with the other hotel in town after an hour on the phone with Expedia trying to contact anyone with the hotel. The next day, we got another email to check out of the AmericaInn. It is fraud.

Was charged twice. Staff was hard to understand or explain in English Staff took up main entry parking Staff was literally waiting at my door for checkout. Made me feel uncomfortable
