Quality Inn Grand Rapids North

It had a pool and hot tub and it was right off 96

Loose railings on the stairs, pool was 75 degrees, the ac/heater unit in the room was missing the top cover so there was a piece of wire mesh attached otherwise the fan blades would have been exposed.

The pool area was welcoming.

The room had stained bedding that although clean need to be replaced. People were smoking pot outside the doors of the building and the smell drifted into the building.

Customer service was horrible. Didn’t receive promises refund. Didn’t not stay one night in that place.

Pool was Cold, breakfast was cold, mirror in bathroom wouldn’t light. Mold in shower.

Breakfast and pool was clean.

The hotel is very old and out dated. The screen in the windows were tore up, has a radiator( I believe it's called)heating system thats very old. The bathroom vent fan was so dirty/dusty you couldn't see the fan So it not be dusted or cleaned properly. There isn't a elevator, so you have to carry everything up stairs.

We liked the breakfast, although the room was very small with not many tables but we were lucky enough to still get a table to sit at. The pool also was nice and warm but getting out of it, the room was freezing. And it was walking distance from McDonald's, and a really good Mexican restaurant.

We never got our deposit back that was promised to us. We didnt know about the deposit until we were checking in. We already paid more then we wanted to and made sure the room was clean when we left so that we would get the deposit back and we never did so for the hotel and stay we definitely over payed and we even called a week later to ask about it, and she said we should get it next day but we never did. The beds were uncomfortable, the hotel had a funky smell. It definitely wasnt worth what we paid.
