Quality Inn Starkville near University

Location was great and the breakfast was very good.

Our floor was soaking wet from being cleaned to where we almost slipped. My dog also found a pill on the ground. Our shower did not have a shower curtain and there was plaster all over the wall. No soap. No one was at the check in counter when we got there and the doors were lock. I had to call to get someone to come check us in.

When you walked in the room, it smelt like cigarette smoke in the bathroom on the bathtub were burn marks from cigarettes have been left there from past people, the Wi-Fi to our room we could not use. We had to go outside the door to be able to use Wi-Fi. my husband sat outside on a chair and was proposition twice by two women that wanted to pick him up for money.

The location and the bed was soft

My husband had to go to the door twice with his pew pew cause at 5 a.m someone decided to knock on our door looking for someone who works and lives there

unsafe, TV does not work, nasty atmosphere.

Absolutely disgusting. I don’t write reviews unless it’s imperative to share with others. This place looks just fine on the Expedia website, however it’s deceptive. I have never in all my 53 years have ever stayed in anything that was this bad especially after paying $170.00 for one night!!! It was unsafe and definitely not up to code! I will be calling the health department as well as the city code enforcement. I have pictures. I drove 13 hours to help my niece check in to her dorm and had my sister, who is sick with stage 4 cancer with me. I freaked out when I walked in to check in. It was gross!! I was immediately put off, and could not cancel. I called around and every place was at capacity so I had no choice but to stay my sister was exhausted and in pain and needed to lay down. I had to go to cvs to get cleaners and sanitizers before I would allow my sister to lay in the bed or use the bathroom. It was absolutely disgusting!! The lights would flicker off and on, electric wall sockets didn’t have coverings and had wires exposed, the sheets literally had blood stains on them! This place should NOT have been allowed to be in business! Expedia should not have them on their sight and Quality Inn should be ashamed to have their name on this property. This is more like a rent by the hour place to see TV shows rather than a $170 hotel!

Do not stay here! I checked in and drove around to find my room. Many shady looking men were just lingering around outside and just staring at my car; felt very unsafe so I left and didn’t even stay in the room.
