La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Peru Starved Rock St Park

Great stay when our truck broke down. They were helpful with finding local resources for transportation in a small town where a rental car was not available. Clean and comfortable.

I liked the location

The hot tub was out of order, but I was not told this upon check-in. Our room was somewhat clean

The air conditioner wasn’t very cold not cold the bathroom exsaust fans didn’t work… breakfast was dry and gross…. For the money was not worth it!!

It was very quite

Outside the door we found a cockroach that we had to kill and my friend she couldn’t relax because she keep thinking we will one since the room also the window was not clean and little animals where dead

Great staff all a round very friendly.

We were disappointed to find that the hot tub was not working properly (and was rather worn looking as well). When we told the hotel employee the jets were not working and even showed him the tub, he told us that’s how it was supposed to be. Um…no. The jets were literally not working. Our room also smelled like cigarettes, even though the hotel is supposed to be non-smoking. The free breakfast was very good.

I will never use Expedia again because of this place.
