Stock Exchange Hotel, Manchester, Autograph Collection

1) My room security and safety was breached when a staff member entered the room even when the DO NOT DISTURB sign was on. The hotel manager, Russell, said this was normal and there was nothing wrong as they had seen me outside the room and this was their normal practice. This was a total breach of Marriott policy, not to mention total lack of respect for my [a woman] safety! 2) The front desk staff, mainly duty manager, MICHA, was very rude and nasty. No respect for guests whatsoever. Hung up on my phone call with her and when I tried to speak to her in-person, she said that what she says is the final work and she was the highest point of escalation for the entire property when I clearly I knew that Russell was the hotel manager, who was not on-site. Also, would not give me contact info for Chris Hull, the general manager? 3) Restaurant was closed most days for dinner without notice and food was gross when it was open. 4) The hotel does not deserve to the in the Marriott Luxury group, does not fit even one criteria for that classification. 5) It is in a terrible location and not safe as all. 6) The only Manchester Stock Exchange remnant they have kept is in the restaurant area whihc is closed most of the time. 7) Room are very very small and no air circulation at all. The windows cannot be opened. 8) As a Lifetime Titanium Elite member, have never been treated so poorly by front desk staff at any Marriott globally. 9) Value for money = 0

Absolute stunning hotel with an exceptional team at the helm! From our arrival to our departure we were met with pure professionalism and a first class service! Would highly recommend! We will be back for sure!

Staff were amazing and really helpful. They even upgraded my room which was extremely kind.

The air con or heating in the room was making a noise through the night, once I heard it I couldn’t in hear it throughout the night.

Quite a lot of noise outside at night early morning

Staff were exceptional nothing was a problem, definitely stay again
