Hotel Chataura

there was no heat!the room had a bad smell and the mini fridge didnt work because the cord was cut off!it was so bad i decided to drive home sunday instead of staying another night!

It was a good inexpensive hotel. They also had surprisingly good internet.

Outlets didn’t work, roaches running around the room. No hot water. Bed sheets were stained. Nonsmoking room smelled like cigarettes.

Staff was friendly, but the overall experience was kind of disappointing. It kind of looked like the pictures that were posted online, it just is dirty.The hotel has the potential to be more appealing, I think it just needs a good cleaning and an exterminator. I didn't see evidence of bugs in my room but there was so much dirt on the floors and that could be seen throughout the building. When checking for bedbugs we were happy to not find anything but between the mattress and box spring was very dirty. It's clear that they haven't vacuumed under the matress in a long time, plus there was a cigarette butt in there. The bathroom was nice but had poor lighting and the floors were sticky. We never took our shoes off. After seeing a cockroach in the hallway we decided to leave early. That being said the room was nice to have to get ready for a concert in, but not nice enough to want to sleep there. It was also a convenient location to get a Lyft to Ford Field to avoid driving in the traffic ourselves.

It was supposed to be a smoke free facility but the 2nd floor reeked of cigarette and weed. When you are allergic and have allergy induced asthma it's not pleasant.

The was so dirty that we checked in 10 minutes after being there. Finding another accomadation was difficult in short notice. I should have read some of the reviews before booking. I learned for next timr

Needs A lot Of Work Done In This Hotel POINT BLANK PERIOD

It was absolutely disgusting. The tub would fill up with water from the drain. And there was dirt and other stuff in the tub. There were stains ont he pillows and blankets. I don’t even know if they clean the rooms. The toilet didn’t work.
