"Worst Experience"

Very bad experience with this hotel. Booked 2 nights for mothers day weekend, which prices increased from $76 per night, too $253 per night. My family and I traveled 13 hrs from Florida to Durham. We attempted to check in at 4:15p on Friday evening. I was told by staff that my room was still being cleaned and they would give me a call once room was ready. After not hearing back from hotel around 6:30p, I contacted the hotel and was told my room was ready. After traveling back to hotel to check in, I was told that the hotel had over sold rooms and my room was given away. This was ridiculous!!! I pre-paid $530 for 2 nights a week in advance of travel, no apology, no help trying to find other accommodations. Since this was mothers day weekend, we checked numerous hotels, but no vacancies. My family of four had to sleep in the car in the parking lot of Walmart!!!! This was the worst hotel experience I've had in a very long time.

"Not a good experence"

Location is good, parking is plenty

We reserved a room with two queen beds, but when we checked in the room came with one king bed, and the front desk tried to say it was my mistake until I showed my reservation proof. They added a rolling bed into our room but the sheet does not look clean. The fan in the bathroom was making a big noise all day and we could not turn it off, Called the front desk but nobody ever came take care of it.

Love the location. So close to Duke University. Staff was lovely especially the front desk.

The carpets desperately need replacing. The whole place needs updating.

"The worst hotel I’ve ever been."

Nothing

Everything was too old and durty. The employees were badly trained, the room service was completely inexistent, air contioning too loud. Horrible place!!

"Stay away - Zero stars!!"

Absolutely awful. Rooms are tired and dirty. AC kept us up all night clanking. Tried the bar on Friday night and got a “bartender” who spoke no English and charged us $46 for by two shots of vodka. See below.
