Millennium Hotel Durham

Property is extremely outdated and needs an overhaul. Our tub faucet was half off the tub and one of our lights by the bed side was half on the wall. The all you can eat breakfast was mediocre at best, I had better at a holiday inn express. I do not believe I would try and stay here again if I was in the area.

Ms. Cecilia was amazing in sorting out all the issues I had come up, wonderful customer service. 10/10 I'll be happy to stay here again.

I booked the Millennium for its proximity to Duke and because I had stayed in one of their properties in the UK and had a great experience. Not so this time, sadly, While the room was fine, overall, I found a dead *cockroach* on my carpet! I also came back from having been out for the day and found that housekeeping had opened my window, and the room smelled of cigarettes from the smokers outside. Worst of all, when I went to get a cup of coffee in the lobby in the morning, a (very rude) staff member told me that coffee is only for people checking in in the afternoon! He said that I should just drink the coffee in my room - which is lousy. No, thank you. I come to Durham regularly but will be taking my business anywhere else in the future.

We stayed here for college graduation. It is a large hotel very near the campus but it appears understaffed on what was a very busy weekend. We had a large room but it was not cleaned for 3 days - had to get more towels and toilet paper at front desk. Needs some sprucing up. Overall would not recommend or stay there again.
